JEWELRY CARE

All Ebony Jewels &CO pieces are 14K or 18K gold plated on stainless steel, hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant and lead and nickel free. Stainless steel jewelry can last for at least two years or longer with the proper TLC. 

Best practices:

• When you're not wearing your pieces, keep jewelry in dry spaces away from water or humidity.
• Ebony Jewels &CO has not only invested in aesthetically pleasing packaging for our customers, but very much functional packaging. You can store your jewelry in the padded box, drawstring bag or microfiber envelope for safe keeping and to prevent your jewels from being exposed to moisture and dust.

• When putting on or removing jewelry, especially necklaces or bracelets, handle with care. Jewelry is an investment that can withstand the test of time when handled with care.

• For cleaning use a mild dish soap in warm water and briefly soak jewelry. Dry and wipe with a microfiber or jewelry cloth.

• Although stainless steel can withstand water and sweat it is advised to remove jewelry if it will potentially be exposed to these substances for a long period of time.

• Your jewelry should be the LAST thing you put on. Apply your perfume, lotions, oils, etc, first to reduce contact with your jewelry and thus dwindling its lifespan.
